Continuous Data in DCT
Overview
DCT delivers a powerful, unified interface for managing Continuous Data (CD) Engines across your entire Delphix ecosystem — bringing visibility, control, and automation together in one place. The sections below give you a preview of what's available and where to find it.
A great for step is to Choose an approach that fits your organization's Continuous Data use. And if you're building workflows programmatically, Delphix API, CLI, and integrations put developer access to Delphix data and common operations right at your fingertips.
Data Management
The Data Management section contains sub-sections that correspond with common data objects and operations found in connected Continuous Data Engines. Clicking one of these sub-sections will show global lists of its corresponding objects within DCT, along with performable actions.

Policies
The Policies section provides centralized governance over automation and lifecycle behaviors for data objects managed across connected CD Engines. Each policy category controls a specific aspect of how datasets, snapshots, replication objects, and virtual databases (VDBs) are created, retained, refreshed, or synchronized. Collectively, these policy types allow administrators to standardize operations, reduce manual effort, and enforce consistent data‑management practices across the environment.

Data Infrastructure
Data Engines is a sub-section under the Data Infrastructure section that provides a centralized view of all CD Engines connected to DCT. It serves as the primary interface for monitoring engine health, reviewing engine metadata, and performing connection‑level actions.
