dSource operations in Data Control Tower

This section groups common lifecycle operations performed on dSources. These operations control data capture, monitoring, and availability.

Available operations

• Create Snapshot: Take a manual snapshot of the dSource.
• Enable: Re-enable a disabled dSource (unavailable when the dSource is already running).
• Disable: Disable the dSource to stop active monitoring and snapshot policies.
• Rename: Change the display name of the dSource.
• Virtual to Physical: Convert the virtual dSource to a physical database.
• Delete: Permanently remove the dSource.
