• Yugabyte Anywhere (YBA) staging database provision

  Starting with YugabyteDB plugin v2025.1.0, users can provision a staging database directly through the YBA.

• Multi-Node staging support

  The staging database now supports multi-node configurations to specify replication factors for yugabyte clusters when provisioning dSources.

• Azure blob storage ingestion

  Staging database can be restored from backups stored in Azure Blob Storage using the YBA restore workflow, streamlining cloud-native recovery process.

• YB-Controller backup type support for staging database

  Added full support for YB-Controller–generated backups on Azure Blob Storage when creating or resyncing staging databases.
