Create and link SAP HANA dSources in Data Control Tower

Linking a dSource ingests SAP HANA data into Delphix-managed storage. Perform this task when preparing data for snapshotting and virtualization.

High-level steps

  1. Navigate to Data > Data Management > dSources.
  2. Select + dSource in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Source-based dSource.
  4. Choose a source configuration.
  5. Provide staging and database parameters.
  6. Define dSource metadata.
  7. Configure data management and policies.
  8. (Optional) Add hooks.
  9. Review the summary and submit.

Result

The dSource appears as Inactive during linking and transitions to Active after completion.
