Add Cassandra environments in Data Control Tower

Cassandra environments represent host-level infrastructure connections. You must add environments in Data Control Tower (DCT) before creating source configurations or dSources.

Steps

  1. Go to Data > Infrastructure connections.
  2. Select Add environment.
  3. Enter a connection name and select the associated engine.
  4. Specify the following:
    • Host OS: Unix/Linux
    • Server type: Standalone
  5. Provide the connection settings, including hostname, SSH port, OS credentials, and toolkit path.
  6. Select Validate and continue after validation succeeds.
  7. Review the summary and select Submit.

Result

The environment appears in the infrastructure inventory and Cassandra installations are automatically discovered.
