Rename a dataset

Renaming a dataset updates how the dataset is identified throughout the interface, including in jobs that reference the dataset.

Use this task to rename an existing dataset in Synthetic Data.

Steps

1. From the top navigation bar, click Synthetic, then click Datasets in the left navigation pane.

2. Click the name of the dataset you want to rename.

3. In the upper-right corner, click Actions, then select Rename. The Rename Dataset dialog opens.

4. In the Name field, clear the existing name and enter the new name for the dataset.

5. Click Rename to save the change, or Cancel to discard it.

The dataset name is updated and displayed throughout Synthetic Data.
