Reference
This framework generates data based on references. Use this framework when generated values must be drawn from or linked to data that exists in another table or column, maintaining referential consistency across the dataset.
Reference generators look up values from a parent field's staged column for the corresponding child rows in a parent/child relationship. The relationship can reflect an actual database foreign key or be user-defined without an underlying key constraint. tableName and columnName identify the parent's staged table and column and are populated when the parent/child relationship between the two fields is defined.
Reference generators are not created through the Create Generator wizard. They must be configured at the dataset level on a specific field.
To configure a Reference Generator, navigate to your dataset, select the field you want to configure, and assign the Reference Generator framework directly on that field.
