Out of the box algorithms

DCT includes a set of preconfigured algorithms that are available immediately after deployment. These algorithms implement common masking patterns and can be used directly in custom data classes, rule sets, or compliance jobs.

Out-of-the-box algorithms are provided by the platform and cannot be modified or deleted. However, you can create additional algorithms using the same frameworks if customization is required. These algorithms are implemented using the same algorithm frameworks used for custom algorithms.
