2025.1 version release (January 2025)
New features
-
Change in version naming convention
The new version naming convention is intended to provide better context on the timeframe of the release. More details can be found in the bulletin above. -
Curated views
Administrators can now tailor the user interface by role, ensuring each user only sees the navigational options they need. This streamlined approach significantly enhances the self-service user experience. -
Job Collections
DCT now supports Job Collections, which groups and executes Continuous Compliance jobs in a user-set order. This feature greatly improves the ease of running complex sets of jobs on VDB refresh. -
Engine Storage Capacity view
DCT now delivers an engine-centric view of storage usage, showing growth trends over time for dSources, VDBs, Held Space, and other metrics. Additionally, administrators can easily reclaim space by identifying and removing unnecessary dSources and VDBs. -
ServiceNow Spoke
The Delphix integration with ServiceNow has been certified to run with the ServiceNow Xanadu version. -
VDB Group self-refresh support
The VDB Group dataset now has the capability to orchestrate a refresh given a timestamp from itself or parent’s timeline.
Fixed issues
| Issue ID | Description |
| APIGW-11362 | Fixed an issue where if a user is using PostgreSQL v12.x, an internal service (e.g., virtualization-app) fails to start. Recommendation is to upgrade PostgreSQL 12 to a newer version, as PostgreSQL 12 has reached its End of Life (EOL). |
| APIGW-11367 | To allow DCT deployment using docker-compose a deployment configuration file docker-compose.yaml is packaged with delphix-dct-2025.1.1.tar.gz. |
| APIGW-11388 | In the DCT upgrade scenario from version < 15.0.0 to a version >= 24.0.0, bookmarks listing fails due to an internal data error. |
