Connector and engine references must match on both sides. When setting up a job, the data source and compliance engine you reference must be recognized by both the connector system and the Profiler. If they are out of sync, the job can fail. See Troubleshooting for help.
You can profile only one type of object per job. A job can profile a single table, a specific set of tables, or an entire schema. These options cannot be combined within the same job.
The file coverage setting is a percentage from 1 to 100. It cannot be set to 0 and does not represent a number of files. Instead, it specifies the percentage of data to sample.
Deleting a job does not delete its results. Removing a profiling job leaves any data sets or run history it created intact. These items are not automatically removed.
